Alaska Smokehouse is unique within the industry, in that its products are smoked in an Alaskan facility, located right on the docks where wild salmon are delivered directly from the fishing fleet.
The company is part of an industry rich in scenery, history, and seafood. An abundance of delicacies are available from these waters, including wild Alaskan salmon. All of their Smoked Salmon Smoking is done in Ketchikan in southern southeast Alaska (about 700 miles north of Seattle) among some of the richest salmon grounds in the world.
After being delivered to their smokehouse within days of being caught, the best Sockeye Salmon are selected, then hand filleted and soaked in traditional Native American brine. The Sockeye Salmon are then smoked over alder wood fires to succulent perfection.
Alaska Smokehouse also offers the highest quality Roe Caviar from the famed Wild Coho Salmon as it's produced in Alaska.
