Jersey Mary Barbeque

Jersey Mary Barbeque is a company founded on love. Mary was born in New Jersey in 1920 to immigrant parents.  In her early years they moved to Chicago but a little bit of Jersey always stayed with her.  She would return to visit family (& she'd jokingly say to "eyeball the lifeguards") on the Jersey shore.

Mary had class but just enough sass to make her fun.  In 1946 she settled down & married Chester.  She loved the way he could always make her laugh.  Mary's real joy was to cook & bake for her family & friends.  Even when times were lean there was always room for one more at the table.  Her generous nature has been an inspiration for recreating her wonderful recipe for barbeque/baking sauce.

One of her favorite sayings was "The heart that gives gathers". So the family & friend owned company comprised of Mary's daughter Roberta Trenbeth & her husband Rich, and Linda & Bobby Garland is donating a portion of the profits from each jar to juvenile diabetes research in her name. The donations are to help find a cure for Mary’s granddaughter, Amanda, & everyone affected by juvenile diabetes.
