This is a truly inspired creation from the folks at California’s O Olive Oil; the first ever Ruby grapefruit oil on the market. It’s produced by using a stone press to crush organic Ruby grapefruit with late harvest, Mission olives, hand-picked on a family farm. The process produces a refreshing olive oil that captures the sweetness and tanginess of the Ruby grapefruit with the richness of premium olives. O Olive Oil’s Founder Greg Hinson became interested in grapefruits when he saw reports that they are a top anti-oxidant useful in combating lung cancer. He’d always been a fan of salads made with spinach, avocados, and bibb lettuce. Greg instinctively felt that a citrus olive oil made with Ruby grapefruits would be an excellent complement. And he was right! He knew the large size of grapefruits would make the process a challenge, but he had the passion to make organic Ruby grapefruits part of a great original creation.
