Tur-Duc-Hen Stuffed with Louisiana Style Cornbread Dressing

A turkey, a duck & a chicken along, with Louisiana Style Cornbread Dressing. All 3 birds have been de-boned, leaving only the wing & leg bones of the turkey for aesthetic purposes. The turkey is the outside bird, with the chicken & duck on the inside. Because it comes from the folks at the Cajun Turkey Company, you can rest assured that the skin & fat have been removed from the inner birds, along with the excess turkey fat. The different layers of meat are then separated by a layer of Cajun cornbread stuffing . Due to the wonderful flavor & the ease of preparation, the Tur-Duc-Hen is fast becoming a new holiday tradition in most homes & we hope it will become your tradition in the future. The Tur-Duc-Hen is shipped frozen raw & ready-to-roast. Allow it to thaw two days in the refrigerator. Take the Tur-Duc-Hen completely out of the packaging & place it in a pan. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, then cook the Tur-Duc-Hen for four and one-half hours covered with legs pointing up and one hour uncovered or until browned. Internal temperature for a cooked Tur-Duc-Hen should be 160-180 degrees. Let it cool off for 20 minutes, Cut the Tur-Duc-Hen long ways from head to butt (you will have two halves). Slice across from leg to leg, wing to wing. A Standard order is 1 Tur-Duc-Hen weighing 15 pounds. It feeds around 15-20 people, or 12-15 hungry Cajuns! Requires cooking.
